Sacré bleu! It is Eiffel Tower Day.
This holiday marks the completion of the French landmark in 1889 ahead of the World's Fair.
The structure, which was named after the principal engineer, Gustave Eiffel, has stood to become a cultural icon of France, and one of the most recognizable landmarks in the world.
daysoftheyear.com suggests people celebrate the occasion by wearing clothes or jewelry featuring the Eiffel Tower, baking an Eiffel Tower cake, or throwing a Parisian picnic. We however, thought we'd mark it by showcasing some of the best Photoshop work by our talented design community.
The designers have a history of reimagining famous landmarks, and the Eiffel Tower is always sure to feature in the contests.
